Roof replacement, siding, and replacement windows across Morris, Sussex, Essex and Bergen counties. The three systems that keep water out of your house — installed by one contractor, so no one can blame the other guy for the leak.
Newpro Construction is a licensed New Jersey general contractor handling roofing, siding, and window replacement for homeowners across our service area. We replace roofs down to the deck, install vinyl and fiber cement siding with a proper weather-resistive barrier, and set replacement windows that are flashed and integrated into that barrier rather than caulked and hoped for.
Water does not respect trade boundaries. Most exterior leaks we are called to diagnose start where two systems meet — a window head flashing that was never lapped over the housewrap, a step flashing tucked behind siding instead of over it, a kick-out flashing that nobody installed. When three different companies do the roof, the siding, and the windows, those intersections belong to no one. When we do all three, they belong to us.
Whether you need one roof replaced before winter, all three systems done together on a tired 1970s colonial, or storm damage documented for an insurance claim, you get a written scope and a fixed price up front — plus one warranty covering the whole envelope.
No finger-pointing between the roofer, the siding crew, and the window installer.
Step, kick-out, and window head flashing lapped in the correct order — where leaks start.
We strip to the deck, inspect the sheathing, and replace what is rotted.
Verifiable NJ Home Improvement Contractor license and full coverage.
Take one system or all three — each item is scoped separately so you can see exactly what your project includes before you sign.
Full tear-off to the deck, sheathing repair, ice-and-water shield, synthetic underlayment, and architectural shingles.
Step, chimney, and kick-out flashing, ridge vent and intake balanced so the roof actually breathes.
Insulated vinyl, cedar-look shake, and fiber cement lap siding over a proper weather barrier.
PVC and composite trim, wrapped fascia, vented soffit, seamless gutters and leaders.
Double-hung, casement, sliders, and bays — vinyl, fiberglass, or wood, flashed into the barrier.
Fiberglass entry systems, sliders, and French doors with sill pans and integrated flashing.
Cost is driven by three things: the size and complexity of the house, the material you choose, and what we find once the old surface comes off. These are the ranges we see across our service area — your written estimate replaces them with real numbers.
Full tear-off, architectural shingles, ice-and-water shield, ridge vent.

Ranges reflect recent Newpro projects in northern New Jersey and are for planning only. Rotted sheathing, framing repair, and chimney work are priced after the surface is opened.
Exterior work moves fast compared to interior remodeling — and unlike a kitchen, you keep using the whole house. Here is what to expect.
Tear-off, sheathing repair, and new roof in the same visit on most houses.
Six to twelve openings per day once units arrive — order lead time is 3 to 8 weeks.
Tear-off, sheathing repair, housewrap, then siding, trim, and soffit.
Sequenced roof, then windows, then siding, so every flashing lap happens in the right order.
We tarp nightly and never open more roof or wall than we can dry in that day.
We walk the roof and the walls, photograph problem areas, and measure openings.
Materials named by manufacturer and line, not just “architectural shingle.”
Township permits pulled while shingles, siding, and windows are ordered.
Property protected, magnet sweep for nails, and the site clean every evening.
We walk it with you, then hand over the manufacturer and workmanship warranties.

Most roof replacements run $14,000 to $30,000 depending on square footage, pitch, number of layers to strip, and how many valleys and penetrations the roof has. Rotted sheathing is priced separately once the old roof is off.
One to three days for most houses, start to finish, including tear-off and cleanup. We tarp nightly and never open more roof than we can dry in before we leave.
If all three are near end of life, yes. Doing them together lets us lap every flashing detail in the correct order, and it costs less than three separate mobilizations.
Insulated vinyl is the value option and needs almost no maintenance. Fiber cement costs roughly double, holds paint for 15+ years, and looks closer to real wood. We will price both.
When it is rotted, yes — and we tell you before we cover it up. Any framing or sheathing repair is documented with photos and priced as a change order, not buried.
Yes. We document the damage with photos and measurements and provide an itemized scope your adjuster can work from.
They help, but honestly less than most ads claim. The bigger wins are comfort near the window and eliminating drafts and condensation. Insulated siding often moves the utility bill more than the windows do.
Yes. Roof, siding, and window replacement all require township permits in most of our service area, and we pull them and schedule the inspections.
We install roofs, siding, and windows throughout northern and central New Jersey, including these counties:
Not sure if we cover your town? Call and ask — we travel for the right project.
Tell us what needs attention — a leak, tired siding, drafty windows, or all three. We’ll inspect it, photograph what we find, and send a written price.
