Design-build kitchen renovations across Morris, Sussex, Essex and Bergen counties — cabinets, countertops, islands, and full layout changes. One project manager, a written scope before demolition, and a kitchen you can actually cook in.
Newpro Construction is a design-build general contractor specializing in kitchen remodeling for New Jersey homeowners. We handle everything a kitchen renovation touches — demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cabinetry, countertops, tile, and final finishes — with one project manager coordinating every trade so you are never chasing four different phone numbers.
Most kitchen remodels fail on sequencing, not on taste. Cabinets arrive before the floor is level, the electrician shows up after the drywall closes, and a four-week job turns into three months. We build the schedule backward from your cabinet delivery date and hold the trades to it.
Whether you want a straightforward cabinet-and-counter refresh or a wall removed to open the kitchen into the living room, you get a written scope and a fixed price before demolition starts — and a realistic answer about how long you will be without a kitchen sink.
We sequence around cabinet delivery so the room is not sitting idle for weeks.
Line-by-line before demolition — no surprise change orders.
Plumber, electrician, tile setter, and cabinet installer all report to us.
Verifiable NJ Home Improvement Contractor license and full coverage.
Every kitchen renovation is scoped line by line, so you know exactly which of these your project includes before you sign.
Measured drawings, work triangle planning, and appliance clearances before anything is ordered.
Semi-custom and custom cabinet lines, pantry walls, and islands with seating or prep sinks.
Quartz, granite, and butcher block templated after cabinet install, plus tile backsplash.
Sink and dishwasher relocations, added circuits, under-cabinet lighting, and code upgrades.
Removing a wall to open the kitchen, including beams, headers, and permit drawings.
Tile, hardwood, and LVP flooring, trim, paint, and hardware — punch list closed before handoff.
Cost is driven by three things: whether walls or plumbing move, the cabinet line you choose, and the condition of what’s behind the drywall. These are the ranges we see across our service area — your written estimate replaces them with real numbers.

Most of our kitchen remodels run six to ten weeks on site after permits and cabinet delivery. Here is where that time actually goes.
Cabinets are the long lead item — typically 4 to 8 weeks from order to delivery.
Old kitchen out, plumbing and electrical rough-in, inspections scheduled.
Walls closed and floors down so cabinets land on a finished, level surface.
Cabinets set and leveled, then stone is templated — fabrication runs about 10 days.
Stone installed, plumbing reconnected, backsplash tiled, hardware and trim finished.
We see the kitchen and hear how your household actually uses it.
Every line itemized, with allowances you can compare.
Township permits pulled while cabinets and stone are ordered.
Dust control, daily cleanup, and a posted schedule on the wall.
Punch list closed before we hand back the keys.

Most of our kitchen remodels land between $45,000 and $80,000 for a full renovation within existing walls. Cabinet-and-counter refreshes start near $28,000, and open-concept projects that remove a wall typically run $80,000 and up.
Six to ten weeks on site once permits are approved and cabinets are delivered. The cabinet order itself is usually the longest wait — four to eight weeks before we break ground.
Almost always. We set up dust containment, keep a path to the rest of the house clear, and can help you rig a temporary sink, fridge, and microwave station.
Yes. We pull township building, plumbing, and electrical permits and schedule every inspection as part of our scope.
Yes. Load-bearing walls need an engineered beam and permit drawings, which we coordinate before demolition so the schedule does not stall.
Either way. Most clients use our cabinet and stone suppliers for warranty and scheduling reasons, but we will install owner-supplied materials if you prefer.
